August 14 sees the third Heddington Handicap. This takes place over the same course as the Heddington Relays but it is run as a handicap rather than a relay. This means that the slowest runners start first and the faster runners have to give them a head-start. If we get it right then there should be a mass finish with everybody finishing close almost together.
As with the relays, the handicap starts and finishes at the Ivy Inn in Heddington. The first runner will start at 19:30 but runners should register in good time in order to be allocated a start time.
The entry fee is £1.
